Parish Finances

For most of our lives, Church finances have been one of the “mysteries of the faith”, with little or no explanation or accountability given to parishioners. Thankfully, this attitude is changing. Transparency is crucial; not only because we are bound to meet certain legal standards, but because it highlights that we are all vital members of the Church and we all have a stake in the wellbeing of our parish. In 2019, Fr Chris Heenan formed a Finance Committee to ensure that our financial resources are utilised as prudently as they can be. Members of the Finance group are: Stephen Wilson, Annette McEnaney, John McIlduff and Paddy Mallan.
