Dear Friends,

Please find attached the newsletter for the 12th Sunday in ordinary Time Year A.

We have decided not to re-open the churches for private prayer at this time. We do need volunteers to clean and steward when the churches can reopen for Mass. The guidelines have changed and those over 70 who do not have underlying health problems may now volunteer to help. So far, we have 5 volunteers for St Margaret's and none for Holy Name. If you are able to help in the next phase please let me know and complete one of the following forms, depending on if you already have PVG clearance for the parish or not. On line training is also available at

For planning purposes, it would be useful to gauge the demand for Mass. Please let me know if you would like to attend and where you would like to attend and how many people are in your household. From the 1st of July I will be on my own, so the Sunday timetable will have to change. I appreciate your understanding at this time.

Finally, here's an article about how the pandemic has affected a community of nuns who make altar breads.
