The Solemnity of Christ the King
‘Yes, I am a King. I was born for this; I came into this world for this: to bear witness to the truth; and all who are on the side of truth listen to my voice’ (John 18:37)
This Sunday, at the end of the Church's liturgical year, we celebrate the enthronement of the victorious Christ as King in Heaven in all His glory. Pope Pius XI Instituted this Feast in 1925. This feast invites us to live in the peace of Christ and surrender our lives to Him every day, accept Him as our God, Savior and King and allow Him to rule our lives. We should not exclude Christ our King from any area of our personal or family lives. In other words, Christ must be in full charge of our lives, and we must give Christ sovereign power over our bodies, our thoughts, our heart, and our will. Wish you all, every blessing of the feast of Christ the King !
NB. There will be a second collection this week for the Catholic Education.
